Katie takes stock of her decision-making when it comes to her family and business.
Katie will have second thoughts about Hope on the Wednesday, May 20 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. She’s set to wonder if there’s a deeper reason for why she wants Hope to work at Logan. At Forrester, R.J. and Zende will be burying the hatchet so they can focus on what’s best for the family business.
What Happened Previously on B&B
Katie (Heather Tom) believes that Hope (Annika Noelle) coming to Logan makes good business sense. While she knows it’ll drive a wedge between her and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), that’s not her intent. But their sister Donna (Jennifer Gareis) has insisted that poaching their niece is a non-starter. Donna’s aware that Hope’s having a rough time at Forrester, but she’s more concerned about Brooke.
If Hope goes to Logan, Donna believes it’ll fracture Katie and Brooke’s relationship beyond repair. She’s also worried that it would damage Hope and Brooke’s as well. She told Katie that she supports her business, but she can’t support the job offer for Hope. To her, it shouldn’t even be a topic of discussion.
Over at Forrester, Zende (Delon de Metz) has been wrestling with his position at Forrester. Though he’s frustrated that Hope for the Future’s new collection has been delayed, he’s continued to work alongside his family. He’s been added to the couture team to assist, but that means reviewing R.J.’s (Brayan Nicoletti) designs.
Being relegated to looking over his less experienced but more supported cousin’s work hasn’t gone down well with Zende. But he’s trying to be a team player despite feeling undervalued at Forrester.
