💔 General Hospital fans are HEARTBROKEN after Kelly Thiebaud revealed the painful reason Britt is ready to sacrifice herself for Rocco 😢

General Hospital's Kelly Thiebaud.Britt Westbourne’s emotional spiral continues to intensify on General Hospital, and according to actress Kelly Thiebaud, Britt truly believes disappearing may be the only way left to protect Rocco from the dangerous fallout surrounding Cullum’s shooting.

Over the past several weeks, Britt’s world has completely unraveled. Rocco secretly shot Cullum while trying to protect both Britt and Jason, Jason ultimately took the blame before being taken into WSB custody, and now Cullum is inching dangerously close to discovering the truth.

For Britt, the pressure has become unbearable.

In a recent interview, Thiebaud explained that Britt feels trapped as the walls continue closing in around her. “Cullum is getting too close to figuring out it’s Rocco,” the actress shared, emphasizing how terrified Britt has become over what could happen if the truth finally comes out.

The guilt weighing on Britt has only deepened because she believes much of Port Charles already blames her for everything surrounding Rocco’s trauma. Dante has confronted her over the secrecy, tensions continue rising across multiple families, and Britt increasingly feels isolated from nearly everyone around her.

According to Thiebaud, Britt feels deeply misunderstood.

“People don’t really give Britt the benefit of the doubt,” the actress explained, adding that Britt constantly feels judged despite trying to protect the people she loves.

At the center of all her decisions is Rocco.

Thiebaud stressed that Britt’s concern for the teenager is genuine and heartfelt. Britt believes leaving Port Charles might remove the danger surrounding him, even if it means sacrificing her own future in the process.

However, the heartbreaking reality is that Britt’s escape plan could come at an enormous personal cost.

Cullum currently controls access to the medication helping keep Britt’s Huntington’s disease stable, meaning walking away from Port Charles could ultimately place her own life at serious risk. Yet despite understanding those consequences, Britt still feels like disappearing may be the only way to protect everyone else.

What makes the storyline even more emotional is that Britt no longer feels like she has anyone she can truly rely on.

Thiebaud explained that while Britt still loves many people in Port Charles, she emotionally feels alone and cornered after months of blame, suspicion, and fear. That loneliness has slowly convinced Britt that maybe everyone would be safer and happier if she simply vanished.

And unfortunately for Britt, the chaos may not be ending anytime soon.

Thiebaud teased that Britt’s attempt to leave town will face even more complications ahead, hinting that her situation is about to become even more difficult as the dangerous storyline continues building toward a major climax.
