Major update on Enzo and Cass' WWE return - REPORT

A potential WWE reunion involving former tag team stars Enzo Amore and Big Cass may be closer than many fans expected.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, promoters on the independent wrestling scene have reportedly been informed that Enzo Amore has recently stopped accepting several future bookings he would normally take.

The report states that some promoters now believe the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion could be preparing for a return to WWE.

At the same time, Big Cass — currently wrestling as Big Bill in AEW and ROH — is reportedly nearing the end of his current contract with the company.

Cass’ most recent match reportedly took place during an April episode of ROH programming, where he teamed with Bryan Keith in a tag team victory.

The former duo originally rose to popularity together in WWE NXT before moving to the main roster, where they became one of the company’s most recognizable tag teams thanks to their chemistry and crowd reactions.

However, WWE split the pair in 2017, leading both wrestlers down very different paths.

Enzo Amore later captured the WWE Cruiserweight Championship but was suspended and released in early 2018 after allegations of sexual assault surfaced publicly. No criminal charges were ultimately filed in the case.

Meanwhile, Big Cass departed WWE later that same year following reported behavioral and personal struggles. In the years since, he has openly discussed battles with alcoholism and mental health while rebuilding his career.

As of now, WWE has not officially confirmed any plans involving either star. However, with Enzo reportedly reducing independent appearances and Big Cass’ AEW deal nearing expiration, speculation surrounding a reunion continues to grow among wrestling fans online.
