Can Finn and Steffy move forward even as Sheila is still tied to Deacon?
The Bold and the Beautiful revealed that Sheila still has power over Steffy and Finn’s marriage. She also has power over Deacon, even though he believes that she’s moved on. This conversation showed that Sheila wants to have control of Finn and Steffy’s emotional landscape.
Sheila Lurking in the Shadows
Though Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) hasn’t been on the soap in over a month, her presence is still felt. Deacon (Sean Kanan) celebrated the opening of his newly revamped Bikini Beach Club with Taylor (Rebecca Budig). Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) joined the couple that’s so in love and not afraid to show it.
However, Steffy remained concerned about Sheila. Deacon believed that his estranged wife was no longer a threat. In fact, he’s still in contact with Sheila. Deacon shared many details about Sheila’s new life. Steffy learned that Deacon and Sheila’s divorce hadn’t yet been finalized. She guessed that Sheila refused to sign the divorce papers.
Deacon revealed that Sheila had moved in with her mysterious new roommate. He insisted that Sheila had turned a new leaf. That was his words, not Sheila’s. But we saw Sheila’s evil grin when she last appeared on B&B. That smile suggested that she wasn’t done yet.
Playing on Steffy and Finn’s Emotions
Steffy and Finn tried to be supportive of Taylor and Deacon in that scene. But they still couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable. All they could think about was Sheila hurting their family. She could still be lurking in the shadows, watching them.
What they don’t realize is that Sheila still has control over them. She has control over Deacon by refusing to sign the divorce papers. She also controls Steffy and Finn’s emotions.
