Stockton, CA — One hundred days have passed since gunmen opened fire at a birthday party in Stockton, leaving four people dead and 13 others injured, yet police have made no arrests. The city’s mayor, Christina Fugazi, expressed shock that no one has come forward with information leading to arrests.
The deadly shooting occurred in November 2025, with victims including three children: eight-year-olds Maya Lupian and Journey Rose Reotutar Guerrero, and fourteen-year-old Amari Peterson. A twenty-one-year-old, Susano Archuleta, was also killed. Investigators report that the shooters fired at least fifty rounds from five separate firearms, signaling a coordinated attack.
According to KCRA, Mayor Fugazi stated, “I’m actually really surprised that nobody has come forward with information that has led to an arrest. If you are helping those who committed this awful tragedy, you too need to go to jail.”
Authorities recovered and processed two vehicles connected to the shooting for DNA evidence, but no arrests have been made. A reward totaling $130,000 has so far failed to generate any actionable leads.
Police believe the attack may have been aimed at local rappers attending the party, including MBNel, Fly Boy Dougy, and Nano MB, who was hosting the event for his child. Nano MB had been in custody for a parole violation since the shooting but was released on March 17.
MBNel issued a statement expressing condolences:
“My deepest condolences to the families who had to bury their children, and to the innocent lives lost. What happened in Stockton has left families carrying an unimaginable loss. There are no words that can make sense of this, and I do not want to add noise where there should be care. This is about the families, and no one else.”
The community continues to mourn the victims while investigators appeal to anyone with information to come forward to help bring the perpetrators to justice.
