An Aussie parkour professional has become the first-ever person to perform a backflip on top of the Sydney Opera House.
The 29-year-old daredevil, Dominic Di Tommaso, featured in a video posted onto Red Bull’s YouTube channel on Tuesday.
Mr Di Tommaso was given special access to the Opera House, enabling him to roam and perform all kinds of awesome stunts throughout the landmark.

In the video, he is seen racing from the large concert hall to the rafters in the ceiling, the back of house and more.
He noted on Redbull’s website that the Opera House more than lived up to his expectations.
‘The interesting architecture was such a great space to work with for movement and physical challenges,’ Mr Di Tommaso said.
‘I would love to explore more of Sydney’s iconic architecture in the future.’
Mr Di Tommaso has performed extreme parkour feats all over the world including the medieval streets of Bruges and Istanbul’s world-famous Grand Bazaar.
He boasts more than 1.7 million Instagram followers and previously worked full-time as a garbage man, before beginning life as a freerunner back in 2007.
He has an athletic background in ballet and figure skating.
In an Instagram post, Mr Di Tommaso said ‘It’s every freerunner’s dream to take on a major iconic landmark.’
‘To be able to do exactly that in my hometown, at the phenomenal Sydney Opera House, was a dream I have had since I started freerunning,’ he said.
His parkour project was filmed over three days.
