For decades, Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán was one of the most powerful and elusive criminals in the world. Others continue to study the broader impact of organized crime, cartel violence, and international law enforcement efforts that ultimately led to Guzmán’s downfall.
Today, El Chapo remains one of the most famous prisoners in the world.
