Elon Musk Spotted on Luxury Yacht in Mykonos as Billionaire Takes Break From Business Chaos
Elon Musk may be one of the busiest and most scrutinized billionaires in the world, but even the Tesla and SpaceX founder occasionally steps away from boardrooms, rockets, court filings, and social media battles.
The 51-year-old entrepreneur was spotted enjoying a luxury yacht trip off the coast of Mykonos, Greece, where he soaked up the Mediterranean sun with high-profile friends, including Hollywood super-agent Ari Emanuel and fashion designer Sarah Staudinger.
The sighting quickly drew attention online, not only because of Musk’s rare shirtless appearance, but also because it came during one of the most turbulent periods in his public life. At the time, Musk was facing intense media coverage over his personal relationships, expanding family, and the legal fallout from his attempted $44 billion takeover of Twitter.
Despite the surrounding controversy, Musk appeared relaxed during the trip. Wearing black swim trunks, he was photographed sipping a drink and spending time on the yacht as the group enjoyed the waters around Mykonos, one of Europe’s most famous luxury vacation destinations.
Joining him were Ari Emanuel, one of Hollywood’s most powerful agents and the inspiration behind the hit HBO series Entourage, and Emanuel’s wife Sarah Staudinger, founder of the fashion brand Staud. The couple had recently celebrated their wedding, an event attended by several major names from entertainment, fashion, and business circles.

Noticeably absent from the yacht outing was Australian actress Natasha Bassett, who had been romantically linked to Musk around that period. Musk and Bassett had previously been seen together in St. Tropez in the South of France and were also reportedly among the guests at Emanuel and Staudinger’s wedding.
Reports at the time described Musk and Bassett’s relationship as on-and-off, adding another layer to the billionaire’s already complicated personal life. Musk’s relationships have often attracted public attention, especially because of his large family and past connections with high-profile women including musician Grimes.
Musk shares children with Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, including son X Æ A-Xii and daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, who was born via surrogate. The children are often referred to by the nicknames X and Y. Musk has also had children with his first wife, Justine Wilson, and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.
The Mykonos photos emerged during a period when Musk’s personal life was under intense scrutiny. Reports had recently highlighted that he had fathered children with multiple women, while his business life was dominated by one of the biggest corporate dramas of the decade: his attempted acquisition of Twitter.

At the same time, Musk remained deeply involved in Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, The Boring Company, and other ventures. His ability to move from legal battles and business negotiations to luxury holidays with elite figures from Hollywood and fashion only added to the public fascination surrounding him.
For supporters, the vacation photos simply showed a billionaire taking a rare break from an extremely demanding schedule. For critics, they became another example of the contrast between Musk’s public image as a relentless builder and the glamorous lifestyle that comes with extreme wealth.
Either way, the images reinforced one thing: Elon Musk’s life exists at the intersection of technology, celebrity, money, controversy, and spectacle.
Whether he is launching rockets, debating population decline, fighting legal battles, expanding Tesla, or relaxing on a yacht in Greece, Musk remains one of the few business figures whose every move can become a global headline.
The Mykonos trip may have been a private vacation, but in the world of Elon Musk, even a few hours in the sun can become part of the larger story surrounding one of the most watched billionaires on Earth.
