NEXT ON THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL — FRIDAY, JULY 31: SHOCKING REVELATIONS, FAMILY SECRETS, AND EMOTIONAL CONFRONTATIONS ROCK LOS ANGELES!

Electra Forrester had heard Will Spencer apologize three times.

The first time, she let him finish.

The second time, she asked him to stop.

The third time, she removed the engagement bracelet he had given her and placed it carefully on the desk between them.

Will stared at it as though it were something broken beyond repair.

“Electra, nothing happened the way Dylan made it sound.”

Electra stood near the window of the Forrester design office, her back straight and her arms folded across her chest. Beyond the glass, Los Angeles moved beneath a cloudless sky, indifferent to the fact that her future had changed in less than twenty-four hours.

“She spent the night with you.”

“She was upset.”

“She admitted she kissed you.”

“I pulled away.”

“But you didn’t tell me.”

Will had no answer for that.

The silence between them became heavier than any accusation.

The previous evening, Dylan had come to Electra and confessed that she had gone to Will’s house after an argument. She had been crying. Will had let her inside, made coffee, and allowed her to stay.

Then Dylan had kissed him.

According to Will, the kiss lasted only seconds.

According to Dylan, it revealed something neither of them wanted to admit.

Electra did not know which version hurt more.

Will stepped toward her.

“I made a mistake by keeping it from you. I thought telling you would make it look worse than it was.”

Electra finally turned around.

“No, Will. You thought silence would protect you.”

“That isn’t fair.”

“Neither was finding out from Dylan.”

His expression tightened.

“I love you.”

Electra looked down at the bracelet.

“Love shouldn’t require an investigation.”

Before Will could respond, the office door opened.

Katie Logan entered first, followed by Bill Spencer.

Katie immediately recognized the tension. Bill noticed the bracelet.

“What happened?” Katie asked.

Will exhaled.

“This is between Electra and me.”

Bill picked up the bracelet before Electra could stop him.

“No private argument stays private once someone starts using the Spencer name to create a scandal.”

Electra’s eyes narrowed.

“This is not about your name.”

“Everything involving my son is about my family.”

Katie looked at Bill.

“Maybe let Will speak for himself.”

Bill ignored her.

He turned to Electra.

“I understand Dylan told you an emotional version of what happened.”

“She told me she kissed him.”

“And Will says he stopped it.”

“After inviting her into his home and keeping the entire night secret.”

Bill placed the bracelet back on the desk.

“My son showed compassion to a vulnerable woman. That is not betrayal.”

Electra’s voice remained calm.

“You weren’t there.”

“Neither were you.”

The words landed harder than Bill intended.

Will moved between them.

“That’s enough.”

Bill’s jaw tightened.

“I’m trying to help you.”

“You’re making it worse.”

Katie walked to Electra’s side.

“Have you spoken to Dylan again?”

Electra shook her head.

“She stopped answering my messages.”

At that same moment, Dylan was standing outside the building with one hand pressed against the cold metal railing.

She had tried to walk through the front entrance twice.

Both times, nausea had forced her back into the sunlight.

Inside her handbag were three objects: a bottle of water, an unopened letter and a positive pregnancy test.

She had taken the first test before visiting Electra.

She had taken two more during the night.

All three had shown the same result.

Dylan had not slept.

She had spent hours counting backward, trying to reconstruct every decision she had made over the previous two months.

The night at Will’s house.

The kiss.

The morning she left before he woke.

And another night weeks earlier—one she had promised never to discuss.

Her phone rang again.

RJ Forrester’s name appeared on the screen.

Dylan declined the call.

A moment later, a message arrived.

We need to talk before you tell anyone.

Dylan stared at the words until the screen went dark.

Then she walked into Forrester Creations.

Across town, Sheila Carter sat opposite Li Finnegan at a quiet table inside Il Giardino.

Li had agreed to meet only because Sheila claimed the matter involved Finn.

The moment Li arrived, she regretted it.

“You have five minutes,” Li said.

Sheila wrapped both hands around her coffee cup.

“I didn’t ask you here to fight.”

“You always say that before creating one.”

“This is about Steffy.”

“Then stay away from her.”

Sheila looked toward the entrance, checking that no one was listening.

“I went to see her because I wanted another chance.”

“You have had more chances than anyone deserves.”

“I know what I did.”

“No. You know what people remember. That is not the same as understanding what you did to them.”

Sheila’s smile disappeared.

For once, she did not argue.

“Steffy told me I would never be part of her family.”

“She is protecting her children.”

“She is also protecting Finn from making his own choice.”

Li leaned forward.

“Finn made his choice. He chose his wife.”

Sheila looked down at the table.

“He came to see me afterward.”

Li froze.

“What did you say to him?”

“I told him to go home.”

The answer was so unexpected that Li studied her face.

Sheila continued.

“He was angry with Steffy. He thought she was controlling him. I could have used that. I could have told him that only his mother understood him.”

“But you didn’t?”

“No.”

“Why?”

Sheila reached into her bag and removed a folded clinic receipt.

“Because something happened yesterday that reminded me what it feels like when someone’s life is turned into a weapon.”

Li unfolded the receipt.

It came from a private women’s clinic.

The patient’s name was Dylan.

Li looked up sharply.

“How did you get this?”

“I found her outside the clinic. She was sick and frightened. She recognized me, but she was too weak to care who I was.”

“What was she doing there?”

“She’s pregnant.”

Li’s expression changed.

She knew Dylan had become entangled in the conflict between Will and Electra. She also knew how quickly a pregnancy could become ammunition in families like the Forresters and Spencers.

“Who is the father?”

“She didn’t tell me.”

“But you know something.”

Sheila hesitated.

“The doctor asked her how far along she believed she was. Dylan said four weeks. The ultrasound suggested nearly eight.”

Li stared at the receipt again.

That difference was not minor.

If Dylan was nearly eight weeks pregnant, the night she spent with Will could not have resulted in the pregnancy.

“Does Will know?”

“No.”

“Does Dylan?”

“She knows the dates don’t fit. But someone has been calling her constantly, begging her not to say anything.”

“Who?”

Sheila looked directly at Li.

“RJ Forrester.”

Back at Forrester Creations, Dylan stepped into the design office just as Bill was telling Electra that she needed to think carefully before publicly accusing a Spencer.

Everyone turned.

Dylan looked pale.

Will immediately moved toward her.

“Are you all right?”

Electra noticed the concern in his voice.

So did Bill.

Dylan stopped several feet away from Will.

“I need to tell you something.”

Bill stepped forward.

“Before you say anything, you should understand that making false claims about my son could have serious consequences.”

Katie stared at him.

“She hasn’t said anything yet.”

“I’m making the situation clear.”

Dylan’s fingers tightened around her handbag.

Electra watched her carefully.

“What happened?”

Dylan removed the pregnancy test.

Will’s eyes fell to the small white object in her hand.

No one spoke.

“I found out yesterday,” Dylan said.

Katie slowly covered her mouth.

Will looked stunned.

“You’re pregnant?”

Dylan nodded.

Bill’s entire demeanor changed.

He took the test from her and examined it as though it were a contract he could renegotiate.

“How certain are you?”

“I took three.”

“Have you been examined by a doctor?”

“Yes.”

Bill turned to Will.

“We need an attorney.”

Katie’s voice rose.

“She needs support, not an attorney.”

“We need facts.”

Dylan looked at Will.

“I’m sorry.”

Electra’s face remained still, but her hand moved toward the edge of the desk.

Will saw it.

“Electra, this doesn’t change what happened. Dylan and I didn’t sleep together.”

Bill looked at his son.

“Are you absolutely certain?”

Will’s head snapped toward him.

“Of course I’m certain.”

“Then why is she here?”

Dylan flinched.

Bill continued before anyone could stop him.

“If there is even a possibility that this baby is connected to my family, there will be a paternity test. Until then, nobody discusses this outside this office.”

“You don’t control me,” Dylan said.

“I control how my family responds.”

Katie stepped between them.

“She is not an enemy.”

Bill lowered his voice.

“Not yet.”

The office door opened again.

Brooke and Ridge entered, followed closely by RJ.

RJ stopped when he saw the pregnancy test in Bill’s hand.

The color disappeared from his face.

Dylan noticed.

So did Electra.

Ridge looked around the room.

“What’s going on?”

Bill answered before anyone else could.

“Dylan is pregnant, and because of her recent behavior with Will, we need to determine whether my son is the father.”

Brooke turned toward Dylan.

“Oh, sweetheart.”

RJ remained near the door.

He did not speak.

Electra looked from Dylan to RJ, then back again.

A detail from several weeks earlier returned to her.

She had entered the jewelry studio late one evening and found RJ buttoning his shirt cuff while Dylan stood beside the worktable. Both had claimed they were helping prepare samples for a presentation.

At the time, Electra had thought nothing of it.

Now RJ could not look at Dylan.

Bill began issuing instructions.

“Dylan will see a doctor selected by our family. The results remain confidential. Until we have answers, Will should stay away from both women.”

Electra’s eyes flashed.

“Both women?”

“This has become complicated.”

“No, Bill. You are making it complicated.”

“You are emotionally involved.”

Electra reached into the bottom drawer of her desk.

Katie noticed her hand shaking.

“Electra?”

Electra removed a sealed medical envelope and placed it beside Dylan’s pregnancy test.

Will stared at it.

“What is that?”

Electra met his eyes.

“I was going to tell you tonight.”

She opened the envelope and removed a laboratory report.

“I’m pregnant too.”

The room fell completely silent.

Will took one step toward her, then stopped, afraid to assume he was welcome.

“You’re having a baby?”

Electra nodded.

His face changed.

The anger and panic disappeared, replaced by something raw and unguarded.

He crossed the room slowly.

“Is it mine?”

Electra’s eyes filled with tears.

“There has never been anyone else.”

Will reached for her hand.

She allowed him to take it.

Bill looked at the two pregnancy tests on the desk.

One connected the Spencers to the Forresters.

The other threatened to destroy that connection before it could begin.

Brooke moved to Electra’s side and embraced her.

Ridge placed a hand on Will’s shoulder.

Katie smiled through tears.

Only Dylan remained alone.

Bill picked up his phone.

“I’m arranging immediate testing.”

RJ finally spoke.

“No.”

Everyone turned toward him.

Bill lowered the phone.

“What did you say?”

RJ walked farther into the room.

His movements were slow, but his breathing was uneven.

“I said no.”

Ridge frowned.

“This has nothing to do with you.”

RJ looked at Dylan.

“Yes, it does.”

Dylan closed her eyes.

Bill’s gaze moved between them.

“What exactly are you saying?”

RJ did not answer immediately.

The silence stretched until even Will understood.

Electra released Will’s hand.

“RJ,” she said quietly, “when were you and Dylan together?”

Brooke looked at her son.

“Together?”

RJ’s face tightened.

“It was weeks ago.”

Dylan’s voice broke.

“Seven weeks.”

Ridge stared at him.

“You knew she might be pregnant?”

“She called me yesterday.”

“And you told her not to say anything,” Electra said.

RJ looked at her sharply.

“How do you know that?”

Dylan reached into her bag and removed her phone.

The message remained on the screen.

We need to talk before you tell anyone.

She placed the phone on the desk.

Brooke read the words.

Her expression collapsed.

RJ stepped toward Dylan.

“I wasn’t trying to abandon you.”

“You asked me to keep quiet.”

“I needed time.”

“You had time. I was the one sitting alone in a clinic.”

Ridge’s voice hardened.

“You let Will stand here and be accused of fathering your child.”

“I didn’t know for certain.”

“You knew the dates,” Dylan said.

RJ looked at Will.

“I’m sorry.”

Will stared at him.

“You watched my relationship fall apart.”

“I panicked.”

“So you let Electra believe I betrayed her?”

RJ’s shoulders dropped.

There was nowhere left to hide.

Bill’s phone remained in his hand, but he had stopped trying to use it.

He looked at Dylan—the woman he had threatened before allowing her to finish a sentence.

Then he looked at RJ, who had remained silent while another man absorbed the consequences of his choices.

Finally, Bill looked at Electra.

Her medical report lay on the desk beside the bracelet she had removed.

Bill slowly placed his phone down.

Katie watched his face.

The confidence was gone.

His jaw loosened. His eyes dropped. For the first time since entering the office, Dollar Bill Spencer appeared to understand that his money and authority had not protected his family.

They had only given him a louder way to be wrong.

“I owe you an apology,” he said to Dylan.

She said nothing.

Bill turned toward Electra.

“And I owe you one too.”

Electra looked at him.

“You called me an emotional complication.”

“I was trying to protect Will.”

“No. You were protecting the Spencer name.”

Bill absorbed the words without arguing.

Will stepped beside Electra.

“Our child will not grow up being managed like a company crisis.”

Bill nodded.

“You’re right.”

The simple admission stunned Katie more than any argument could have.

Ridge turned toward RJ.

“You will take responsibility.”

“I will.”

“Not because I ordered you to. Not because the family is watching. You will do it every day when nobody is there to applaud you.”

RJ looked at Dylan.

“I want to be part of the baby’s life.”

Dylan wiped her eyes.

“That decision begins with honesty.”

“I know.”

“No, RJ. You are only beginning to know.”

Before he could respond, Li entered the office with Sheila behind her.

Steffy and Finn followed.

Ridge’s expression darkened immediately.

“What is Sheila doing here?”

Li held up the clinic receipt.

“She brought Dylan to the clinic yesterday. She also told me the pregnancy was dated earlier than Dylan expected.”

Steffy stared at Sheila.

“You knew?”

“I knew Will could not be the father.”

“And you said nothing?”

“I promised Dylan I would not expose her pregnancy.”

Dylan looked at Sheila.

“She kept that promise.”

Sheila’s eyes moved toward Finn.

“I had information that could have brought me closer to you. I could have used it. I didn’t.”

Steffy folded her arms.

“One decent decision does not erase your past.”

“I know.”

That answer stopped Steffy.

Sheila did not beg. She did not claim she had changed. She did not accuse anyone of cruelty.

She simply stood beside Li and waited.

Finn looked at his wife.

Steffy could see the question in his eyes.

She took a breath.

“You will not come near the children without permission.”

Sheila nodded.

“You will not arrive at our home uninvited.”

“I understand.”

“And you will not use what happened today to demand a place in our family.”

“I won’t.”

Steffy looked at Li.

Then at Finn.

“This is not forgiveness. But I’m willing to discuss supervised contact.”

Sheila’s lips parted.

For one second, the woman who always had a strategy looked genuinely speechless.

Finn reached for Steffy’s hand.

Li stepped closer to Sheila.

“Do not make her regret this.”

Sheila nodded.

“I won’t.”

The meeting ended with no celebration.

There were too many wounds for that.

Will and Electra left together to attend her next medical appointment.

Bill offered to drive them.

Will declined.

Katie stayed behind long enough to tell Bill that becoming a grandfather would require something he had never been good at giving: space.

Ridge instructed RJ to accompany Dylan to her doctor and listen before making promises.

Brooke embraced Dylan and quietly told her that one frightened decision did not have to define the rest of her life.

Steffy left with Finn, still uncertain whether she had opened a door or invited another storm.

And Sheila walked out beside Li without asking for anything more.

Near the elevator, RJ stopped Dylan.

“I am sorry.”

She studied his face.

This time, there was no audience behind him.

No father demanding responsibility.

No family waiting to judge his answer.

“Will you still be sorry tomorrow?” she asked.

“Yes.”

“What about when the baby is crying at three in the morning?”

“I’ll be there.”

“When people talk about us?”

“I’ll be there.”

“When this changes your career, your plans and the way your family sees you?”

RJ swallowed.

Then he held out his hand.

“I’ll be there.”

Dylan did not take it immediately.

But when the elevator doors opened, she allowed him to walk inside beside her.

Upstairs, Bill remained alone in the design office.

Two pregnancy tests had been removed from the desk.

Electra’s bracelet remained.

Bill picked it up and turned it over in his palm.

He had entered the room prepared to control a scandal.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Dec. 31: Ridge & Bill Rivalry Heats Up

Instead, he had watched two young women face the truth while powerful men tried to delay, manage or hide it.

Katie appeared in the doorway.

“Are you coming?”

Bill looked at the bracelet once more.

“I almost destroyed Will’s future trying to protect it.”

Katie’s expression softened, but she did not rescue him from the truth.

“Then make sure the next thing you protect is his right to choose that future for himself.”

Bill placed the bracelet carefully inside its box.

Across Los Angeles, two unborn children had already changed the balance of three families.

One would join a Spencer and a Forrester.

The other would force a Forrester heir to become the man he had only pretended to be.

Secrets had delayed the truth.

Power had tried to control it.

Fear had nearly buried it.

But by the end of the day, everyone in that room had learned the same lesson:

The truth does not destroy families—people destroy families when they decide their reputation matters more than the truth.
