Kaosara obtained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with an outstanding grade of distinction from Afe Babalola University, Nigeria. She won an award as the best-graduating student of her class.
She initially enrolled at the University of Ilorin to study Medicine and Surgery but left due to the academic strikes that disrupted the regular academic calendar. She said in an interview with EDUGIST that it was during the strike she discovered her passion for computer science.
”During this period of uncertainty and idle time, I discovered my passion for computer science. The world of coding, algorithms, and software development intrigued me, and I decided to change my course of study to computer science,” she said.
Kaosara took to LinkedIn to share her achievement of graduating from the university with an outstanding grade despite switching courses. She said she is excited that her journey at the university was fulfilling even with her being a transfer student.
She stated that as a transfer student, though she was anxious, she embraced the challenge of switching fields to computer science unsure of what lay ahead of her. Kaosara said she is excited to have graduated with a first-class degree in Computer Science.
She added that she is also elated to win the best graduating student award of the university’s Department of Computer Science which is a testament to the dedication and hard work she put into her studies.
