Brilliant Nigerian lady bags masters degree in Law at UK university, graduates with outstanding distinction

A brilliant Nigerian lady named Oluwabusola Fadipe has bagged a master’s degree in law with distinctions at the University of Birmingham, England in the United Kingdom.

Oluwabusolami obtained her first degree in International Law and Diplomacy at Babcock University, Nigeria with first-class honors before she proceeded to earn another first-class bachelor in Law(LL.B) at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

Now the double first-class graduate has achieved another remarkable feat as she bagged her Masters in Law (LL.M) at the same University of Birmingham. Oluwabusolami shared her achievement on Linkedin stating that she graduated with an overall distinction.

”Officially come to the end of my LL.M Master of Laws degree at the University of Birmingham and I am pleased to share that I achieved a Distinction overall,” she wrote.

Oluwabusolami said she started her LL.M. with the aid of multiple scholarships adding that the program was a fulfilling journey for within and beyond academics.

She stated she enjoyed engaging with legal issues at a more advanced level, exploring research themes within her interests, and participating in a wide range of extracurricular activities.

She mentioned that the main highlight of the degree was developing her research topic, ‘The Role of Infrastructure Development in Promoting Regional Trade in Africa’ which she earned a distinction grade.

Oluwabusolami also mentioned that she was credited for her extracurricular engagements. She received the College of Arts and Law’s PPDA Prize alongside a Higher CPD Award for Law Postgraduates by CEPLER.

She said she has always imagined what it feels like to have a line of academic achievements and has always admired people who did. She added that now that she has obtained three different degrees, she is humbled and honored.

Oluwabusola expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to her academic success especially her family, tutors, and peers whom she had the pleasure of interacting with during her program.
