Is Cameron Mathison leaving General Hospital? Over the weekend, Cameron Mathison was among the line-up of stars at Christmas Con 2023, which took place at the New Jersey Expo Center in Edison.

The actor, who plays Drew Cain on ABC’s daytime drama General Hospital, was approached by fans who asked him directly if he was leaving the show. Mathison took to his Instagram stories to address the rumors, saying, “What’s up everybody? I am at Christmas Con and lots of excitement here, but the number one question I am getting while I am here is whether I’m leaving General Hospital. 

I don’t know why there is a rumor out there, but I am definitely not leaving. I am having the best time ever on GH.”Mathison debuted in the role of Drew in August 2021.

The rumors likely started when it was announced that he had signed a multi-picture deal with Great American Media. The deal spans several years, during which Mathison will star in various programs on Great American Media’s platforms, including Great American Family, Great American Faith & Living, and its streaming service, Great American Pure Flix.
