The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, December 14 – Thorne & Bridget Go Up Against Ridge – Eric’s Message

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, December 14, reveal that Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) eye movement will once again leave his loved ones divided. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) told John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to end life support, but Eric’s eyes started moving beneath his lids before Finn had the chance.

Of course, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) might view this as a message from Eric – a sign that he wants to keep fighting and stick around with the people he cares about.

Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) may remain caught in the middle since she isn’t sure she completely agrees with Ridge, but she’s also trying to support him and trust that he’s making the right call.

Although Ridge will hold off on pulling the plug, he may insist this doesn’t change his mind about the experimental treatment Finn offered.

Ridge still won’t want to put Eric through a painful process without any real guarantees that it’ll fix anything.

However, there’ll be a couple other opinions in the mix soon enough.

It won’t be long until Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) arrive at the hospital, so they’ll get updates on this potential treatment and Ridge’s reasons for blocking it.

Thorne and Bridget may be furious when they realize Ridge was going to turn off life support without even letting them say goodbye!

Eric is Bridget and Thorne’s father too, so they’ll want to weigh in on Eric’s possible treatment and how that news could affect his recovery.

Since Bridget is also a doctor, she’ll bring her own medical knowledge to the table.

B&B spoilers say Thorne and Bridget will side with Donna and Steffy, so they’ll feel like they have to move forward with the treatment and give Eric one last opportunity to survive.

The tension will escalate as Ridge faces off with Bridget and Thorne, so it’ll definitely be a stressful situation for all parties involved.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will eventually start to waver on his decision to let Eric go without further medical intervention, so stay tuned for more drama.

Keir Starmer says police should focus on ‘what matters most’ – amid growing anger over police investigation into Allison Pearson’s tweet

Police forces should focus on tackling crime, not policing people’s tweets, Sir Keir Starmer said yesterday. In an apparent climb down, the Prime Minister urged the police to ‘concentrate on what matters most to their communities’, rather than being drawn into investing resources in tackling so-called ‘non-crime hate incidents’. Downing Street backed the police over the controversial practice last week, saying it was ‘important that the police can capture data relating to non-crime hate incidents where it is proportionate and necessary to do so to help prevent serious crimes which may later occur’.
