Young African lady who wrote WAEC three times finally graduates from university, scores 96% to emerge best graduating student

A young African lady named Hannah Ayamba who wrote the West African Examination Council (WAEC) examination thrice has finally graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology at the University of Ghana.

She scored 96% grade point to emerge as the overall best graduating student of the university.

Hannah wrote the West African Senior School Certificate Examination three times before finally securing admission to the university according to Rising Africa. During her trying times, she had to work to support herself during the challenges and, never gave up.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with Psychology with an outstanding 3.84 over 4.00 final grade point average (FGPA). Hannah not only achieved remarkable grades but was awarded the valedictorian of her college.

Hannah said her achievement is a testament to her hard work resilience, and unyielding commitment to her dreams. Aside from academics, she expressed her interest in pursuing a career in the investment and finance space.

She said her passion for finance grew when she was in the university, and she hopes to develop the necessary hard and soft skills required for the industry. Hannah is currently working as a Talent Acquisition Analyst (NSP) at the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) Africa.

She also engaged in side businesses throughout her university journey, providing home tuition services and running a soap-making venture. She served as the Vice President of the Africa Youth for Education and Empowerment Foundation (AYEEF).

Hannah said she plans to pursue a master’s degree in Finance and Development to further improve her skills and knowledge in the field. She added that she aims to be certified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
