While ARMYs are all grieving over all BTS members enlisting for their mandatory military service, they had a pleasant surprise, thanks to search engine Google.

The web browser has frequently been updated for holidays and special occasions. Usually, it does so through “Google Doodles,” creative and often interactive changes made to the iconic logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, celebrities, and more.
Today, December 12, Google updated, celebrating the 25 most searched people, places, and moments since Google was founded in 1998, making it 25 this year. It included an interactive game, Most Searched Playground, akin to Where’s Waldo? (also known as Where’s Wally?).

ARMYs were pleasantly surprised to discover BTS on the list! They were depicted in a cute cartoon version of their “Butter” concept.

ARMYs noticed that they, too, were depicted in the image. BTS were pictured performing to a crowd of ARMYs who were even waving ARMY Bombs (lightsticks).
Google revealed BTS was the “most searched boy band” of the year. Yet, their fandom, ARMY, and their choreography were also the most searched worldwide!
Last year, Google celebrated ARMY’s birthday. Check it out below.
