Specifically, the World Music Awards announced that the solo song “Seven” by Jungkook is currently the second most streamed K-pop song on the popular music streaming platform, behind “Dynamite” ofΒ BTS. The third most streamed K-pop song is “Butter” by BTS.
This achievement was achieved at a time when Jungkook was enlisting in the army with Jimin. With Jungkook and Jimin being the last members to enlist, all BTS members are serving their mandatory military service and will return as a group in 2025.
Previously, the song “Seven” reached the top spot on the US Billboard’s main song chart Hot 100 and reached number three on the official UK singles chart Top 100.
Additionally, “Seven” won fourth place in the “Global Top 10 Songs” of Spotify in its “end of 2023” (i.e., their take on the past year), reaffirming the hit’s global popularity.
Jungkook and “Seven” has received many awards from US Billboard, in which Billboard’s team recognized Jungkook as “Pop star of 2023”.
