The Trade Agency of the French music industry – SNEP has just announced the sales and streaming numbers of the hit “You & Me” performed by Blackpink member Jennie.
The song peaked at number 117 on the SNEP singles chart, becoming the highest debut by a female K-Pop solo artist in 2023.
Along with Lisa’s song Money, Jennie’s hit became the song with the highest debut by a female K-pop solo artist in history.
Jennie joined PSY, Rosé, Lisa, Jisoo, Jimin, Jin and Jungkook as the only K-pop Solo Artists to date to have placed at least one song on the SNEP Top Singles Chart.
Therefore, Blackpink has equaled One Direction’s achievement as the group with all members entering the official French SNEP singles chart as solo artists.
