She got it from her grandma.
- Goldie Hawn just posted an adorable photo of her granddaughter Rio, and fans think she is a total mini-me of the 74-year-old actress.
- Hawn has six grandchildren, and Rio is the youngest daughter of Hawn’s son Oliver Hudson.
Goldie Hawn has a (loveable) habit of sharing adorable snaps of her big multi-generational family on Instagram, including her long-time partner Kurt Russell, children Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson, Boston Russell, and Wyatt Russell—and her six grandchildren.
The actress’s fans are onto something, because if you compare the photo of six-year-old Rio with pictures of a young Goldie Hawn early in her career, the resemblance is uncanny.

Spending quality time with the family is a priority for Hawn and her on-screen and off-screen partner of 35 years, Russell. Particularly, around the holidays. “We always trim the tree on Christmas Eve and we have a big meal,” Russell told Closer Weekly. “The grandkids put their pajamas on and hang up their stockings. We get the fire going and when it gets dark we always choose someone to read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.’”
Hawn also makes sure to celebrate big events throughout the year with her grandchildren, including Rio’s preschool graduation and a charity function for the Goldie Hawn Foundation. Photos from those outings further confirm how strong that bloodline is.
Rio is not the first Hudson offspring to resemble Hawn, as the 74-year-old has also been compared to one-year-old Rani Rose, who is Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa’s daughter. But we’ll let you decide which grandkid she looks the most like.
