Fans of Nicki Minaj believe Cardi B and Offset’s latest drama is simply a publicity stunt.

Cardi B announced two weeks ago that she and her husband Offset were splitting up. News of the split, Media take Out reported, came immediately after Offset was accused of cheating on Cardi – with Blueface’s babys mother Chrisean Rock.

Well now we’re hearing that Cardi’s “separation” may be just a big ole publicity stunt.

Media Take Out spoke with two well placed music industry insiders, who both believe that Cardi’s “separation” is not real.

One of the insiders suggested that the couple – who have both been struggling to sell records lately – are pretending to “break up” in order to get attention for an upcoming project.

The insider explained, “I don’t believe they split. I know they have a project together that they plan on dropping soon. I think it’s all just for [publicity].”

And we have more evidence that he separation may be CAP. Media Take Out confirmed that Cardi and Offset are both performing New Years concerts at the Fountainbleu hotel in Miami.

The concerts, which will be in separate parts of the hotel, will both take place at the same high end hotel and both plan on spending the evening at the Fountainbleu.

Cardi will perform at the hotel’s luxe pool with DJ Gryffin. Tickets for Cardi’s concert “range from $5,000 up to $25,000 stage-front cabanas for larger groups,” according to the spot’s site.

Offset will be at the hotel’s hot club, LIV, where tickets are going from $125 up to $15,000.

Fans of Nicki Minaj believe that Cardi B and Offset are trying to distract from the release of Pink Friday 2, amid rumors of a rift in their relationship.
