Deontay Wilder has suffered a significant drop in the Ring Magazine’s heavyweight rankings after his defeat to Joseph Parker.
Six of the boxers from the top ten list were in action as part of the ‘Day of Reckoning’ show in Saudi Arabia last week.

In the two main events, Parker outboxed Wilder for a wide unanimous decision and Anthony Joshua stopped Otto Wallin.
This has led to AJ leapfrogging the American and taking his number two position.
The ‘champion’ top spot is held by Oleksandr Usyk, while Tyson Fury is currently ranked number one beneath him.
Wilder has dropped all the way down to number nine as a result of the Parker loss, as it has left him with a record of 1-3 since 2019.
Fans are split over this new ranking, with some believing the Bronze Bomber didn’t deserve to fall so far, while others insist he should have been kicked off of the list altogether.
One fan wrote: “Wilder shouldn’t even be on this list honestly.”
And a second agreed: “Wilder should disappear from the list.”
A third fan said: “Don’t think Wilder should even be on there after his performance.”

While a fourth commented: “What’s that fraud doing at number nine?”
In contrast though, one fan put: “They dropped Wilder to NINE?????”
A second insisted: “Wilder at nine is a bit harsh.”
While a third wrote: “One loss and he drops to nine, they couldn’t wait lol.”
And another fan commented: “Deontay Wilder KO’s everyone above him except Parker and Fury.”
