Pep Guardiola ‘wants’ Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala to join Manchester City.
The five-time Premier League winning manager is said to be after the 20-year-old German wonderkid, according to the head of Sport Bild Christian Falk.
The Spaniard’s comments come just a day after Musiala scored Bayern’s third goal of the match in a 3-1 victory over Galatasaray.
While Bayern are desperate to tie him down to a long-term contract, the attacker is currently assessing his options before committing his future.
Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are also said to be interested in the youngster, too.

While Musiala has become a stalwart in the German side, the attractiveness of the Premier League could be tempting.
His near £7million-a-year contract at Bayern could certainly be topped by a club such as Man City or Liverpool, but the German side will still feel confident about keeping him.
After a 3-1 win against Mainz on the weekend, Bayern currently sit third in the Bundesliga on 20 points behind Bayer Leverkusen on 22 points.
Harry Kane has scored 11 goals in 13 games for the German side as he got on the scoresheet against Galatasaray.
Meanwhile, Guardiola has voiced his concerns over the prospect of his players getting injured on Young Boys’ plastic pitch ahead of their Champions League tie.
He said: ‘Grass is better. Because 99.9 per cent of the teams who play in high level play on grass, otherwise UEFA and FIFA would decide to play on artificial pitches. It’s common sense.’
