According to reports, MANCHESTER UNITED is prepared to provide Aaron Wan-Bissaka in exchange for Crystal Palace midfielder Michael Olise.
It is anticipated that the Red Devils will be involved in the transfer market this month and in the summer after Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s £1.3 billion acquisition of the football business.
Man Utd wants to sign Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise.
The Red Devils are seeking a trade that includes Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Additionally, Olise has been identified as a major target, according to the Daily Star.
The 22-year-old’s current deal has a buy-out clause that will go into effect in July.
Allegedly, United wants to activate the provision, but they’ll need to pay a hefty price.
Although the precise amount is unknown, it is anticipated to be nearly twice as much as the £35 million buy-out cost from Olise’s previous Palace contract.
United officials are prepared to include Wan-Bissaka in a proposal in order to increase their chances of coming to an agreement with Crystal Palace.
After leaving Palace for Manchester United in a £50 million deal in 2019, the full-back has made 175 appearances for the first team.
Chiefs at Crystal Palace have shown a desire to re-sign him, so a player-plus-cash agreement may benefit both sides.
In place of Wan-Bissaka’s contract expiring this summer, United this week activated a one-year extension that would keep the player at Old Trafford until June 2025.
Due to injuries, Olise has only played in nine games this season, but he has five goals.
Olise’s history of injuries is one thing the Red Devils could have to worry about while trying to sign him.
Olise will be out for at least a month due to a hamstring injury he sustained last week against Brentford.
The midfield player had just made his way back to the field following a six-month absence due to a grade three hamstring strain.
Serhou Guirassy of Stuttgart, who has scored 19 goals in 16 games for the German team this season, has also been linked to Manchester United.
