Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou has been simulated ahead of the pair’s huge fight in the coming months.
It was announced last week that the heavyweights have signed to meet in Saudi Arabia with AJ himself since confirming that March 8 will be the date for the clash.
Ngannou wins the fight in the virtual octagon, but will of course be an underdog in the real life boxing ring
They will have a ten-round boxing fight, identical in ruleset and structure to Ngannou’s debut against Tyson Fury.
In that bout in October, the former UFC heavyweight champion shocked the boxing world by flooring the WBC king.
Fury climbed off the canvas to scrape a narrow split decision win, but Ngannou no doubt emerged the moral victor in many fans’ eyes.
As such, he has earned a second opportunity in a big fight against Joshua on March 8.
AJ looked revitalised in his last bout, stopping Otto Wallin in five rounds.
He will therefore go into the Ngannou contest with a lot of confidence under the guidance of Ben Davison.
But how will the fight look when the two men square up?
Of course, it’s difficult to tell what will occur when they meet in the boxing ring, however the fight has been simulated within the virtual octagon in UFC 4.
Joshua vs Ngannou is set for March 8 in Riyadh
The fantasy bout starts out with both men having some success in the opening round.
However, things quickly become more one-sided in the second as Ngannou’s home advantage inside the cage tells.
In round two, Ngannou lands a single huge right hand which knocks AJ cold.
Many fans will be expecting a different outcome in the boxing ring on March 8, but time will tell which prediction is correct.
