Many General Hospital fans have been complaining that Sonny Corinthos has been very passive in recent times. They wondered if the mob boss was going soft. But it looks like Sonny is ready to bounce back as the fierce force he has been known and loved for being. However, unfortunately, it may not end well for Dex. Especially if the ex-military man fails in his mission.

Sonny Tasks Dex With A Dangerous Task

Cyrus has become a real menace in Port Charles on General Hospital. Thus, Sonny has decided that it is about time to deal with him once and for all. In light of the same, he tasks Dex to take the baddie out for good. A command that shocks Dex. The young man has had enough time to get acquainted with the way Sonny’s side of the world works. But he hasn’t really offed- offed someone on command yet.

So, in the upcoming General Hospital episodes, when Sonny issues him the mission, Dex tries to reason with his boss. Perhaps hoping that he would back off from taking Cyrus’ life. But nope! When Sonny makes his mind up for something, there is no stopping him. So, he tells Dex that this is exactly what he needs to do. It might just be time for a loyalty test between the boss and the henchman!

Dex Is On A Cross Road, Will He Make A Mistake On General Hospital?

Being in the military, Dex knows how to follow orders. But he also has come a long way personally on General Hospital. Especially with his relationship with Joss. So, it is understandable that he fears that Joss may leave him if he turns into a killing machine. Unfortunately, he may have no other choice but to go ahead with the assignment Sonny has tasked him with. Even if his heart and mind are not in it. And this war within him is exactly what could cause him to make a mistake that may end up costing him everything.

GH/ Will Dex kill Cyrus?

Dex will slip into a pair of scrubs and enter Cyrus’ General Hospital room, hoping to drug his IV with a deadly injection. But here’s the massive twist. Right in the middle of the mission, Sonny changes his mind! He will try to contact Dex to call off the kill. But Dex may have already commenced the task by then. Will Dex really end up tainting Cyrus’ IV? Or will Sonny call it off in time? Or worse yet, what if Dex is caught in the act since Nina has just left Cyrus’ room?
