She’s the US it-girl who is in Australia to launch her exclusive beauty collection with cosmetic brand ModelCo.

And Hailey Baldwin let slip on how she keeps her hair look effortlessly luscious day-to-day.

The 20-year-old stunner revealed to Popsugar on Tuesday that it’s not all her ‘own hair’ and opts for fake and product-heavy tresses over her naturally fine appearance.

She said her hair is naturally thin, fine and straight, so she prefers to use wave spray before blow-drying it to perfection.

Despite her regular praise of hair styling products her limited edition range for ModelCo does not yet include such items.

Hailey, who is the ex of singer Justin Bieber, says she likes to keep her makeup and hair looks quite basic: ‘I like to keep things pretty simple. I won’t really do my hair to go anywhere.’

‘If I have all my own hair in, I typically wear it all to one side and let it do its thing or I’ll leave it straight down the middle and tuck it behind my ears,’ she added.

The American beauty arrived in Australia on Saturday to promote her namesake line of cosmetics, which is only available in store at Mecca Maxima and on ModelCo’s online store.

It includes products, such as beauty balms, powders, lipsticks and bronzing agents.
