Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, begins his next stage of training in the military.
On January 16, Taehyung completed his five-week basic training after entering the Nonsan Training Center on December 11. Due to his exceptional performance, he was honored as one of the six elite trainees out of the two hundred recruits.
On January 18, Taehyung was spotted taking the train to Jonghaenggyo Bridge to enter the Army General Administration School.
He was dressed from head to toe in his military uniform, carrying a black backpack on his shoulder, and holding another large military bag in his hands.

Since Taehyung opted to join the counter-terrorism unit, Special Task Force of the Capital Defense Command (aka Special Duty Team), he has to undergo an additional three weeks of training at the Army General Administration School before being deployed to his unit.
Starting today Taehyung will go through three weeks of training at Army General administrative school. The new training facility is in the best condition with excellent facilities and is very spacious.
The Army Comprehensive Administration School is one of the best educational institutions for training military professionals who are not only equipped with exceptional combat skills but also possess strong leadership abilities.
A man who served in the Special Duty Team last year revealed in a blog that the specialized SDT training is known for its high difficulty, and some trainees find it so challenging that they withdraw.
The physical training sessions extend late into the night, adding to the overall intensity of the training.
In addition to increased physical fitness training, Taehyung will undergo training in automatic target live ammunition, rappelling, preliminary rifle instruction (PRI), close-quarters battle (CQB), military police duties, and many more. The trainees are guided by expert personnel from the Navy, Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, and other branches.
Although Taehyung’s training is more challenging, he will have more freedom and perks here than he had at the Nonsan Training Center. Trainees are allowed to have some free time, including using the PX and access to television.
They are also allowed three hours of phone usage during weekdays and twelve hours during the weekends. Delicious food is also provided at the center.
Before Taehyung left the Nonsan Army Training Center, his Korean fans installed banners along the route to his new training camp.
The banners contained congratulatory messages for Taehyung and his unit for completing their basic training and also included warm messages of love, such as “Kim Taehyung, we vow lifelong loyalty to you.”
