Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign one forward who Chelsea are reportedly interested in.
Al-Ittihad star Karim Benzema is a player who Chelsea have on their radar, according to ESPN.
And now a report from the Daily Mail has claimed that the 36-year-old was actually offered to their London rivals Arsenal earlier this month.
Benzema only joined Al-Ittihad from Real Madrid last summer, but things do not look rosy between him and the club right now.
France 24 recently claimed that the Saudi Pro League outfit are furious with the forward after he returned to them 17 days late. On the pitch, though, things have not been too bad. Benzema has scored nine goals in 15 domestic appearances.

Arsenal have not bitten, but the transfer window is not closed yet. There is obviously still time for them or Chelsea to sign Benzema.
However, if either club want to bring in the former France international, then they better get a move on.
According to The Athletic, Lyon are already exploring a deal to re-sign Benzema, who left the Ligue 1 side for Real Madrid back in 2009.
Whoever signs Benzema this month if he does leave Saudi Arabia will be getting an incredible footballer.
Benzema, who has been described as “world class” by former Liverpool player Jose Enrique, scored 31 goals in his final season at the Santiago Bernabeu.
While the Al-Ittihad forward may be 36 now, he looks far from finished.
For ESPN pundit Shaka Hislop, if Chelsea have the opportunity to bring Benzema to Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes, then they have to take it.
For now, Armando Broja will be expected to lead the line for Mauricio Pochettino‘s side, with Nicolas Jackson currently at the Africa Cup of Nations.
