Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has reportedly split from his co-star Tisha Merry after five years together.
The actor, who plays mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on the soap, met Tisha back in 2014 and started dating in 2019 when she left her role as Steph Britton on the soap.
However the pair have now split according to The Sun who revealed the couple began to drift apart and called it quits at the beginning of the year.
An insider told the publication: ‘Alan and Tisha had a lot of love for each other and had really similar interests, enjoying socialising and going on holiday together.
‘But they started to drift apart and feel the pressure of making their relationship work get on top of them. They realised they weren’t on the same page and splitting up felt like the best option.

‘Tisha moved out of Alan’s home around a month ago and is throwing herself into work.’
Alan, 41, has played street favourite Tyrone for 26 years, while Tisha, 30, now stars in BBC series Doctors.
Alan was previously married to Hollyoaks actress Lucy-Jo Hudson before their split in 2018. The pair share daughter Sienna, 10, together.
Tisha has now deleted all photos of Alan from her Instagram account, where the pair often documented their relationship, and Alan has deleted the majority of her.
MailOnline have contacted the pair’s representatives for comment.
It comes after Alan recently shared a health update with his followers, two months after undergoing major knee surgery which forced him to pull out of I’m A Celebrity last year and take time off from Corrie.
He is thought to have injured himself while exercising and had reconstructive anterior cruciate ligament surgery in November.
The star shared a clip of himself working hard during a rehab session following his ACL reconstruction.

Alan was building strength in his knee while strapped to weighted equipment which he captioned: ‘ACL rehab, 12 weeks, on track’.
The surgery saw the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructed by removing the torn ligament and replacing it with a tendon from another area of the leg.
Alan also recently returned to filming following the operation and shared a beaming snap with his onscreen family to social media.
Writing: ‘Family is the heart of the home. So happy to be Together again & back to work’.
He revealed he’d been under the knife in November as he gave a thumbs-up and lay back in bed and told how the surgery went ‘really well’ in an accompanying caption.
Alan also said it could take him up to 12 months to recover in rehabilitation.
He wrote: ‘ACL Reconstruction surgery ✔️ Well, On Friday I underwent ACL reconstruction surgery.
‘I have been told the surgery went really well. I know I have a long 9-12 months of rehabilitation ahead of me but I’m sure with the support of family & friends I’ll get there.
‘Thank you to the amazing! Staff at Oaklands xx ..and also Thanks to my very own nurse Ratched @missdrewmerry93 Any rehab tips or advise??’
