4 absolutely effective ways to remove stickers on glass bottles

Sometimes you will want to reuse glass jars to put away food, spices, small objects, etc. However, the problem is that extremely annoying stickers are left on these glass jars. Using your hands to remove it is very difficult and still messy. Next we would like to introduce to you ways to remove stickers on glass bottles!

1. Use alcohol

Alcohol helps soften the paper label and makes the adhesive peel off more easily. In particular, this method not only helps us save money but also brings high efficiency. First, place a cotton pad on the paper label and then pour alcohol on it.Let it sit for 10 – 15 minutes, allowing the alcohol to absorb evenly into the label. Then use cotton to gently rub, the adhesive will automatically peel off and just rinse with clean water.

2. Use baking soda and cooking oil

Mix baking soda and cooking oil in a bowl in a 1:1 ratio. Then use cotton to rub the mixture evenly on the surface of the sticker stuck on the glassware, and let it sit for 30 minutes. Finally, gently scrub with dishwashing liquid and the glue will peel off on its own. With this very simple method, all stains left by labels will be removed.

3. Use vinegar and cooking oil

Vinegar and cooking oil are indispensable ingredients in every family. But few people know their great use in removing stains on glassware. Try it, you will be surprised!First, take a sufficient amount of vinegar or cooking oil and rub it evenly on the glued area, leave it for about 30 minutes to absorb. Vinegar and cooking oil will make the glue peel off easily. Then, use a scrubber to gently rinse with clean water. That’s it, your items will return brand new and spotless.

4. Use a hair dryer

Use a hair dryer to heat the paper label for 1 minute. The heat from the dryer will cause the glue to melt. Then, use a sponge to gently rub the label and the glue will peel off easily.Use a dryer to heat the sticker for 1 minute. The heat will cause the adhesive to lose its grip on the plastic bottle. Continue drying until the sticker completely peels off, and finally use a sponge to remove any remaining adhesive on the bottle’s surface.Hopefully with the simple and effective tips above, your cups and glasses will always be as shiny as new. Wish you always success!
