Filming for the much-anticipated Deadpool 3 has kicked off in the UK, with Ryan Reynolds set to return as the foul-mouthed hero.
The actor, 47, was seen filming a dramatic car crash scene in his character’s iconic suit as production got underway for the third instalment of the Marvel hit.
Ryan is set to reprise his role as Wade Wilson for the third Deadpool film, and was seen sporting his character’s famous suit to work on the tense crash in the woods.
The star’s stunt double was also spotted on the set in Deadpool’s suit, though minus his expressive eyes.
It appears that production for the third Deadpool film has been relocated to the UK so Ryan can manage his commitments with his team Wrexham FC, who were promoted back to the English Football League in April.

Hugh Jackman is also set to reprise his role as Wolverine in the upcoming sequel after last playing the role in 2017’s Logan.
In the third film, Deadpool will use Cable’s time travel machine to save Wolverine before his death in 2029 and they will end up lost in the Multiverse.
While they are in the Multiverse they will be pursued by Mobius, who has access to time-travel technology.
Among those set to star in the film is The Crown’s Emma Corrin, who will play a villain in the blockbuster.
Ryan tweeted: ‘New addition to the family! The Deadpool family, for clarity. Which is just like a real family except with less swearing… Welcome, Emma Corrin!’
He previously confirmed the Deadpool 3 film launch date as September 6, 2024.
The day after Ryan announced that Hugh would return as the late Wolverine in Deadpool 3 last year, the pair sat down for a faux fan Q&A.
‘I had a lot of questions. I’m sure you had a lot of questions. But rest assured, we’re going to answer them right now,’ Hugh promised.

‘Like, for example, how is Wolverine alive after Logan?’
Ryan clarified that Logan was set in 2029 and it was a ‘totally separate thing’ – hinting it might involve the MCU multi-verse.
‘Logan died in Logan. Not touching that,’ Ryan stated. ‘What actually happens in our film is these two f***ing guys get out there and just like…’
At that point, Reynolds and Jackman’s words are drowned out by the sound of Wham!’s 1984 hit song Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.
Ryan and Hugh’s characters Wade Wilson and Logan already battled in Gavin Hood’s 2009 movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which earned $373.1M at the box office despite dismal reviews.

When audiences last saw Wolverine, who’s healing powers were diminished, he had been stabbed in the heart and impaled by a branch by his evil clone X-24 in the 2017 film Logan.
Logan’s mutant daughter Laura and the other Transigen children then buried him beneath a wooden X to honor his time with the X-Men.
Upon seeing the video, Logan director James Mangold tweeted: ‘Oh my gosh! Everybody chill. Just kidding! I’m all good! Logan will always be there.
‘Multiverse or prequel, time warp or worm hole, canon or non-canon or even without a rationale, I cannot wait to see what madness my dear friends Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman cook up!’
