The Boys previews a key Homelander storyline with a campaign video to drum up further interest in Season 4 of the hit Amazon series.
The Boys prove that “Supe Lives Matter” as Victoria Neuman pushes her campaign agenda with a new ad, setting up a major storyline involving her and the devious Seven leader, Homelander.
Via their official X account, Neuman (Claudia Doumit) reveals in the campaign video that she and her secretary of defense, Robert Singer (Jim Beaver), have been on the trail “bridging the divide between the human and superhuman communities.” She also stated how, during a town hall meeting, a milkshake was thrown towards her amid chants of “Supe Lives Matter,” admitting she agrees with the sentiment but “I don’t even like that word because you’re not Supe, you’re super.” Neuman then promised to create a new position aimed at giving the superhuman community, “a seat at the table,” thanking Homelander (Antony Starr) and Vought International for their support of her campaign. The campaign video was released on Mar. 5, the same day as Super Tuesday in the real-life U.S. presidential election race.

Neuman’s somewhat disingenuous speech sets up one of the major story arcs of The Boys Season 4, which sees her and Homelander form a strong alliance on the campaign trail. Though Neuman made multiple promises to the superhuman community and received support from Homelander/Vought during her presidential campaign, the congressional representative has publicly opposed Vought and been an undercover superpowered assassin. As the “Head-Popper,” Neuman murdered several other members of Congress and will be a major antagonist in Season 4.
What Will Happen in Season 4 of The Boys?
According to the official Season 4 synopsis, “The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power.” A staunch supporter of Neuman, Homelander hopes to leverage his political influence as he faces a murder trial for the slaying of a Starlight supporter during a political rally during The Boys Season 3 finale. As a part of his campaign to “Make America Super Again,” the Seven leader has been drumming up support for his trial by selling Homelander High-Tops for $777, with the shoe line and its design mocking former U.S. President Donald Trump’s sneakers.
The Boys Season 4 will see Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid’s Hugh “Hughie” Campbell and Erin Moriarty’s Annie January return, while Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy is also expected to appear. The upcoming season dropped its first official trailer, which included a tease of Jeffery Dean Morgan’s character in the series.
Along with the anticipated Season 4, The Boys is reportedly locked in for Season 5, with a recent update confirming when production will begin for the upcoming season. Creator and showrunner, Eric Kripke, has hinted at his intentions to potentially continue The Boys beyond its initial five-season plan.
The Boys Season 4 debuts via Amazon Prime Video on Jun. 13 with three episodes dropping simultaneously.
