Think, Homelander!! THINK!!!
Fans of The Boys and Invincible claim that Homelander vs. Omni-Man would be the ultimate clash, but they haven’t had any luck in a crossover between the two properties.
But when CoveredGeekly spoke with writer Simon Racioppa about Invincible Season 2, he expressed optimism to us about how millions of people across the world would one day have their dreams fulfilled via Amazon’s Prime Video.
Notably, Racioppa has a voice in this issue because he is also a writer for the animated series The Boys Presents: Diabolical!
Racioppa is clearly excited to see the two brands collide at some point, whether it be in live-action or animation. This may be more likely than ever given Invincible is currently delving into its multiverse-heavy tales.
CoveredGeekly: With Gen V recently coming out, you have such a young cast and established stars coming together, and I really hope that you get the chance one day to collaborate with them.
Simon Racioppa: Oh, that would be great. I would love that. That would be awesome.
Yeah, [The Boys and Gen V] is [great]. Eric Kripke and his whole team over there with Gen V and The Boys – I was a huge fan of those shows before I ever got to work on it, I was just like ‘Oh my god, this show is incredible!’. So, yeah!
That would be great to… we should do a… I mean like… Amazon has us both, we’ve been on billboards together! We’ve done collabs on billboards… I think that’s the closest we’ve gotten right now, but you know… who knows…
New episodes of Invincible Season 2 are available to watch on Prime Video.
