France captain Kylian Mbappe has been criticized for his unconvincing performances ahead of the matches against Germany and Chile.

In the past two friendly matches, Mbappe was unable to score any goals for France even though the PSG star started in the 0-2 loss to Germany and the 3-2 win over Chile.

This performance attracted a lot of criticism, Mbappe was also accused of “not even moving” in two international friendly matches for coach Didier Deschamps’ team.

Before joining the French team , Mbappe was in impressive form when he scored a hat-trick for PSG in a 6-2 victory over Montpellier. The 25-year-old has scored 24 goals in 24 matches in Ligue 1 and 6 goals in 8 matches in the Champions League this season. Therefore, this player is the number 1 hope for ‘Rooster’ in the journey to conquer EURO 2024 in Germany.
