Anticipation Builds: President Homelander’s Contribution Promises The Boys Season 4’s Unforgettable Final Scene.

President Homelander is being hinted at in The Boys season 4, and that really unsettling plot builds to the ideal climax for season 5.

The final scene before season 5 of The Boys may already be carved in stone because of the narrative that was hinted at in season 4. The Boys season 4 is centered around Robert Singer’s presidential campaign, which he is running with covert supe Victoria Neuman. The cameo appearance by Neuman in Amazon’s Gen V spinoff program guaranteed that, come election day, their political stance will be to give supremes a “seat at the table.” Homelander’s already-close relationship with Neuman means that the seat she indicated will inevitably be saved for two spandex-clad cheeks in red, white, and blue.

Given Homelander’s trial following The Boys season 3’s stunning conclusion, Homelander’s ascent to the White House would not only perpetuate the real-life connections between the Amazon adaptation and Garth Ennis’ original The Boys comics, but also the impending US election. A campaign trail dynamic between Homelander, who represents the political right, and Starlight, who represents the left, has already been established by the trailer video. Homelander’s natural desire for power was evident in earlier seasons of The Boys, and after taking over Vought and gaining political clout, the Oval Office seemed like the next obvious step.

The Boys Season 4’s Final Scene May Already Be Set

The Boys’ Comics Make This Shocking Final Scene Even More Likely For Season 4

According to the trailer video that is currently available, Homelander’s The Boys season 4 plot will entail more cunning and plotting as a right-wing leader, gaining support for himself while using Victoria Neuman as his political pawn. By the end of season 4, one may assume Homelander assisted Singer and Neuman in getting into the White House, politely accepted her offer of a “seat at the table,” and then subtly pushed the newly elected president out of the way to claim the job for himself. If this is the case, the last scene of The Boys season 4 may have Homelander seated behind the fabled Oval Office desk in a spooky, menacing manner.

The original comic books by The Boys provide a solid foundation for this. In an attempt to establish supe-remacy in America, Homelander killed President Trump and sat down as the story’s finale drew near. The graphic panel that followed showed the villain tampering with the head of his predecessor and facing Billy Butcher. The pieces are all in place for The Boys season 4 to recreate this scene: Homelander triumphant after killing his way into the nation’s most important position.

Homelander In The White House Would Perfectly Set Up The Boys Season 5

The Boys Season 5 Could Be The Boys Vs. President Homelander

Although filming on The Boys for season five has supposedly begun, Amazon has not yet officially given the go-ahead. After three seasons of intense back and forth, it is clear that Homelander and Billy Butcher’s continuous enmity is reaching a boiling point. Homelander pushing his way into the White House would take their rivalry to the next logical step before season 5. In addition to battling the most powerful superhero in the world, Butcher and his Boys would also face the US President, regaining their underdog status after it had declined throughout seasons two and three.

If Billy Butcher and his motley crew of miscreants were to decide the destiny of democracy in the United States, it would be a hilarious and extremely The Boys-esque turnaround. Just as Homelander’s murder of the protester and smile at the end of season 3 laid the groundwork for season 4’s trial, or how the season 1 finale’s shocking Ryan reveal paved the way for season 2, The Boys’ season 4 ending with a shot of Homelander sitting at the Oval Office desk would lead perfectly into that battle ahead of season 5. A parting shot of President Homelander at his new office as The Boys season 4’s last sequence would undoubtedly surpass both of those instances.
