On Sunday evening, the Golden State Warriors faced off against the San Antonio Spurs in Texas.

The game was close, but the Warriors were able to win by a score of 117-113.

Two-time MVP Steph Curry led the way with 33 points, one rebound and eight assists while shooting 12/23 from the field and 7/15 from the three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time.

Curry also made NBA history by becoming just the 30th player to reach 23,500 career points.

In addition, he appeared in his 950th career game, which ties Hall of Famer Bailey Howell for 206th on the NBA’s all-time regular season games played list.

With the victory, the Warriors improved to 40-34 in 74 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference.

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a four-game winning streak.

On the road, the Warriors are now 22-15 in 37 games.

Following the Spurs, they will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they return home to host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

As for the Spurs, they dropped to 18-57 in 75 games, which has them as the 15th seed (last place in the Western Conference).

The loss also snapped a three-game winning streak.
