PSG coach reacted after being insulted by Mbappe

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has spoken out about Kylian Mbappe after the striker called him a “bastard” in his most recent match.

The moment happened just after half-time, in PSG’s Ligue 1 match against Marseille last weekend. Mbappe was once again substituted by coach Luis Enrique, making the French striker unhappy.

A series of reports later alleged that Mbappe called his coach a “bastard” as he trudged off the field in the rain. The Spanish strategist later dismissed the rumors and called them “fabricated”, asserting that the striker born in 1998 had “always behaved admirably” on the field.

PSG coach told reporters on April 3: “The curious thing is that everything said is based on a false news. Someone made up an insult, based on lip-reading a passage. video, and from there comes all kinds of speculation. I’m trying my best. I’m very happy with all my players, including Kylian Mbappe, he always behaves admirably.”

It’s not just Mbappe’s behavior when he stepped onto the Orange Velodrome field that caught attention. Immediately after their 2-0 win over Marseille, the 25-year-old took to Instagram to post an optimistic post, but with a confusing status line as his move to Real Madrid was approaching.

Despite Luis Enrique’s positive words, Mbappe was still criticized by the French media for his behavior, especially considering he was PSG’s captain in that match.

The substitution story in the match against Marseille is the latest in a series of controversies involving Mbappe and Luis Enrique. The striker has now had to leave the field three times and been on the bench once – since his move to Real was reported to be completely confirmed.
