Drake responded to rapper Rick Ross’s trash tune “Champagne Moments” by claiming he had surgery on his nose.
The “Once Dance” singer shared a text interaction with his mother, Sandi Graham, on his Instagram Story on Sunday. The exchange came about after Sandi Graham questioned the veracity of the claims made regarding his nose.
“It seems like you had a nose job online?” 64-year-old matriarch wrote. “To me, you appeared to be the same in the kitchen today. You know I’ve always wanted one, thus I find it hard to imagine you would get one without me π€. I can’t believe you got tattoos without my help and now this as well. π€
Drake wonβt let fellow rapper Rick Ross have the last word.
The βOnce Danceβ rapper took to his Instagram Story Sunday to address the rumors he got a nose job after his mom, Sandi Graham, questioned if they were true.
She wrote in a text message thread, βThe internet is saying you got a nose job??β
βI would have got us a 2 for 1 deal if I went ma,β Drake, 37, responded with a slew of laughing emojis. βItβs coming from Rick Ross.β
The five-time Grammy winner then alleged the βHuslin’β hitmaker, 48, was taking the Type 2 diabetes drug Mounjaro for weight loss, adding, βHeβs gone loopy.β
βHe hasnβt eaten in days and itβs turned him angry and racist,β he continued, referring to Rossβ newly released song, which also repetitively called Drake β who is biracial β a βwhite boy.β
βHeβs performing at proms for money itβs bad,β theβ βDegrassiβ star continued. βDonβt worry weβll handle it.β
βYou looked the same to me in the kitchen today. I canβt believe you would get one without me,Β Β cuz you know I always wanted one,β Graham quipped.
βI would have got us a 2 for 1 deal if I went ma,β Drake responded. βItβs coming from Rick Ross.β
Drake also called out the βPurple Lamborghiniβ rapper directly in the post, writing, β@richforever youβre one nosey goof.β
On Saturday, Ross released βChampagne Moments,β which alleged Drake got a nose job because he didnβt want to look like his father, Dennis Graham.
The hitmaker also said he unfollowed the βGodβs Planβ crooner on Instagram because Drake allegedly sent a cease-and-desist notice to French Montana.
The Grammy winner alleged Ross was taking the Type 2 diabetes drug Mounjaro for weight loss and hadnβt eaten in days.
βHeβs gone loopy,β Drake added.
Ross was swift to drop his track shortly before Drakeβs alleged single βPush Ups (Drop & Give Me Fifty)β single was leaked on Saturday.
Drake β who hasnβt confirmed if the track is his β targeted Ross, singing, βEvery song that made it on the chart, he got from Drizzy β Spend that lilβ check you got and stay up out my business.β
He also accused Ross of βjumpinβ inβ to his drama with Kendrick Lamar, which stemmed from his and J. Coleβs October 2023 hit βFirst Person Shooter,β claiming that both of them and Lamar are the βbig threeβ rap artists.
Ross dropped his diss track βChampagne Momentsβ on Saturday, alleging the Toronto rapper got a nose job to avoid looking like his dad.
He also called the βGodβs Planβ hitmaker β who is biracial β a βwhite boy.β (Pictured here, Drakeβs dad and Drakeβs son.)
However, in March 2024, the βHumbleβ singer disagreed with the duoβs conclusion in his βLike Thatβ track, rapping, βMotherfβk the βbig three,β nβa, itβs just big me.β
While ColeΒ responded to Lamarβs remarksΒ in his β7-Minute Drillβ song released earlier this month, Drake subtly addressed the comments to fans, claiming he wasΒ keeping his βhead up high.β
βI know, no matter what, thereβs not another nβa on this Earth that could ever fβk with me,βΒ he said during his Sunrise, Fla., concert stop in March.
Ahead of Drake and Rossβ feud, the two have worked together on several tracks dating back to 2010.
