New York is reportedly eyeing 2025 more than 2024 when it comes to playing for a championship, but Trout would certainly help speed up that process.

The Mets, perhaps more than any other team, are in position to take on the money remaining on Trout’s contract.

San Francisco Giants

The Giants have been eyeing a big splash for a couple of years now. They missed out on Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani.

Perhaps Trout could be a nice consolation prize.

San Francisco is eyeing another run at a championship and Trout could be the missing piece in the outfield.

Baltimore Orioles

The Orioles are armed with the best farm system in the league. Baltimore, which won 100 games in 2023, has one of the lowest payrolls in the league, too.

While it’s more likely that the Orioles will choose to spend on their homegrown players like Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson, it would be fun to see them make a blockbuster trade for Trout.
