As Michael And Willow Approach Their Anniversary, Drew Approaches Willow

General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was thrilled to bring Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) out for dinner last week to celebrate their upcoming first wedding anniversary. They’ve been to hell and back over the last year, and they both remain committed to one another — for now anyway.

The rocky road they’ve seemingly overcome has left them with a bit of a fractured marriage. Willow is looking for a pivot from her nursing career that will give her more time with the kids, but such a change in her life also reflects a change in her.

She and Michael haven’t just endured family drama and cancer together — they’ve endured Michael’s lies, and she hasn’t forgotten about them. As she continues to be a friendly ear for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to vent to, will she become more than a friend to him while being less than a wife to Michael?

General Hospital Spoilers — Last Time Was Different

Drew was expecting to break the news of his break-up with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to both Michael and Willow, but finding Willow home alone when he arrived gave them time to dish on Drew’s feelings about Carly and what happened as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) came back into the picture.

Willow couldn’t help but feel compassion for him, although she was also helping Jason and hiding him from the police at the same time as she sipped wine with Drew and listened to his concerns.

The one-on-one time between Willow and Drew showcased a relationship we didn’t quite see between them before.

GH Spoilers – Hint They’ve Both Changed

Drew is far from the same guy he used to be before Nina made sure he was carted off to Pentonville for insider trading. Sure, he was a bit complicit, but he was taking the fall for the woman he loved at the time (Carly).

Nina was happy to see Carly in pain no matter how the punch was delivered. But that time in prison shaped Drew into a tougher version of himself who isn’t holding back anymore. No longer will he be the mediator in his family who diffuses the stress.

Instead, he’ll be pushing buttons and making sharp moves that land himself in a better position. He’s ready to look out for number one, but that doesn’t mean he’s forgotten his bond with Willow. After all, he did save her life.

That doesn’t mean he’ll care about Michael’s feelings though, especially once he finds out it was Michael who dragged Willow into helping Jason — and simultaneously jeopardizing her career. Willow is different too — ever since she made it through her cancer scare.

Suddenly, she doesn’t want to be a nurse anymore. Michael has lied to her on a few occasions and it’s left their relationship in a different place than before — most recently with Michael not even staging at the gatehouse with her and the kids. While it looks like they’re mending right now, rumor has it Drew is going to shake things up on their homefront.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Spoils Everything

We don’t know yet how the truth is going to come out about Jason’s whereabouts when the police were searching for him. But it won’t come as a surprise to anyone that he was shacked up at the Quartermaine boathouse.

It won’t surprise Drew either to learn Willow has no choice in the matter. Michael involved her in his crime — aiding and abetting a fugitive — without considering the implications or stress involved for her.

As Drew comes to see how tired Willow may be of Michael’s dabbling in his father’s criminal world, will he aim to sweep her off her feet and right out of Michael’s arms? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
