Sam Enlists Spinelli’s Help To Save Jason — But Is She Biting Off More Than She Can Chew?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers claim Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is concerned that her ex-husband, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), may be in deeper than he realizes and needs her help. Why does Sam suddenly believe she is the person to best serve Jason in this situation? It’s hard to say.

While she is a private investigator and her boyfriend is a cop, she hasn’t shown any interest in helping Jason over the years since she parted ways with their marriage out of concern for the safety of her family.

Regardless, rumor has it she’s about to call on Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to help her solve the mystery of what the FBI has that they’re holding over Jason’s head.

Will Stone Cold really appreciate his ex sticking her nose in where it doesn’t belong and digging up dirt on Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) crimes? Will Sam unleash that truth just to set Jason free from these chains and get Carly out of the way? We have to admit, we think she’s been wanting to do that for some time now.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Spencer Loves Leftovers

Sam might be a fairly humble gal, but she’s certainly had to have noticed that Carly has a certain affection for the men who loved Sam first.

Alright, Jason may have loved Carly first, but his romance with Sam made her pale in comparison for years. That was fine while Carly was shacked up with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — and many others.

But Carly’s romance with Jason in the months leading up to Sonny’s re-emergence rivaled his longstanding history with Sam well.

Still, Sam was quick to notice Carly piggybacking on her romance with her other ex-husband — Jason’s twin brother, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

So, suffice it to say it wouldn’t be a stretch for Sam to relish the slightest bit of payback in Carly’s direction.

GH Spoilers – Leak Sam McCall Still Loves Jason Morgan?

Working together with Spinelli is bound to remind Sam of the good times back in the day when she was more of a partner to Jason than just a girlfriend or wife.

Their marriage and having children changed everything, but that doesn’t mean some part of her doesn’t still long for the days that she could jump on the back of his bike and be as reckless as he is.

In some ways, we have to wonder whether Sam really grew tired of Jason’s risk-taking, or whether she resented him for it because she had to be the stable parent who gave it all up to have a family.

Regardless, we expect that some of Sam’s old feelings for her ex are bound to float to the surface in the months ahead.

General Hospital Spoilers — No Small Feat

Carly has already muddied the waters of the investigation Jason is working on with Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) and Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Telling Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) that the FBI was investigating him may be a misstep that Anna and Jason can capitalize on, but Spinelli and Sam are going to find it hard to come by information on what Jason is involved in without him telling them himself.

Moreover, Spinelli has a solid chance of botching many of the bear traps that he walks into.

Is Sam about to make things worse for Jason than Carly ever could have by inserting herself into a situation where he’s trying to protect the other love of his life — AKA, not Sam?

Keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers to see how bad it stings when Sam realizes who Jason has been jumping through these hoops for.

Keir Starmer says police should focus on ‘what matters most’ – amid growing anger over police investigation into Allison Pearson’s tweet

Police forces should focus on tackling crime, not policing people’s tweets, Sir Keir Starmer said yesterday. In an apparent climb down, the Prime Minister urged the police to ‘concentrate on what matters most to their communities’, rather than being drawn into investing resources in tackling so-called ‘non-crime hate incidents’. Downing Street backed the police over the controversial practice last week, saying it was ‘important that the police can capture data relating to non-crime hate incidents where it is proportionate and necessary to do so to help prevent serious crimes which may later occur’.
