On November 6, Guinness introduced Jung Kook’s ‘Seven’ as the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify on its social media.
According to Guinness, the “explicit version” of ‘Seven’ by Jung Kook had registered 100 million filtered streams on Spotify by 21 July 2023 according to Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart.
Jungkook’s song left behind the record of 118 days set by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber with the new record of 109 days.
The singer is the first K-pop solo artist to reach No.1 on the platform’s “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart. ‘Seven’ entered Spotify’s Daily Top Song Global chart at 1st place with 15,995,378 streams, which is the highest number of cumulative streams in the first entry.
Jung Kook released his solo album ‘Golden’ on November 3. The solo debut album featured 11 tracks in total, including previously released ‘Seven’, ‘3D’, and the main track ‘Standing Next to You’
Meanwhile, Jung Kook will make his solo Tonight Show debut on November 7. The singer will also perform a solo performance at TODAY Plaza on November 8 as part of the ‘City Concert Series’ of NBC’s Today Show.
