⚠️ Betrayed by his own family, the feared mafia boss was abandoned in the freezing mountains and left to d*e alone…

Massimo DeLuca ruled Chicago with fear.
Politicians answered his calls.
Gang leaders avoided his territory.
And even his own men lowered their eyes when he entered a room.
For twenty years, the DeLuca empire had been untouchable.
But power always creates enemies.
And sometimes…
The most dangerous enemies are family.

One freezing night, Massimo was driven deep into the mountains by the very people he trusted most — his younger brother Marco and two loyal captains who had secretly turned against him.
Massimo had been drugged during a private dinner.
By the time he realized what was happening, it was already too late.

“You should’ve stepped down years ago,” Marco said coldly while snow fell around them.
Massimo, weak and bleeding, glared at his brother from the back of the truck.
“I made you rich.”
Marco smiled bitterly.
“And now I’m taking everything.”

They dumped Massimo near the edge of a snowy cliff miles away from civilization.
No phone.
No weapon.
No chance of survival.

Before leaving, Marco crouched beside him one last time.

“By morning,” he whispered, “the mountains will bury you.”

Then the trucks disappeared into the darkness.

For hours, Massimo dragged himself through the freezing snow, his vision blurring more with every step.
The cold cut through his body like knives.
Eventually, exhausted and half-conscious, he collapsed beside a frozen river.

He was certain he would die there.

Until he heard footsteps.

A young woman wearing a thick winter coat appeared through the storm carrying bundles of firewood.
She froze the moment she saw him lying in the snow.

“Oh my God…”

Massimo tried reaching for the gun hidden beneath his jacket, but his strength was gone.

The woman quickly dropped beside him.

“You’re freezing,” she whispered.

Massimo forced himself to speak.

“Leave me.”

But instead of running, the stranger carefully wrapped her scarf around his bleeding arm.

“If I leave you here,” she said softly, “you’ll die.”

Massimo stared at her in confusion.
Most people feared him.
Others wanted him dead.
But this woman — who clearly had almost nothing herself — was trying to save him.

“Why help a stranger?” he asked weakly.

The woman looked into his eyes.

“Because someone should.”

Hours later, Massimo woke up inside a tiny wooden cabin warmed by a fireplace.
His wounds had been cleaned.
A blanket covered his body.
And sitting nearby was the same woman quietly stirring soup over the stove.

“You’re awake,” she said gently.

Massimo slowly sat up, wincing in pain.

“Where am I?”

“My cabin,” she replied. “The nearest town is thirty miles away.”

Massimo studied her carefully.

“What’s your name?”

“Anna.”

For the next several days, Anna secretly cared for him while a violent snowstorm trapped them in the mountains.
She never asked who he was.
Never asked about the scars.
Never questioned the expensive watch or the dangerous look in his eyes.

But eventually, Massimo noticed something strange.

Anna barely ate.

One night, he quietly watched her pretend to finish dinner before secretly giving the last piece of bread to a small boy sleeping in the next room.

Massimo frowned.

“You have a son?”

Anna nodded softly.

“My husband died last year.”

Something about her honesty hit him harder than expected.

Then one evening, Massimo overheard Anna crying quietly outside the cabin while speaking on the phone.

“Please… just give me more time,” she begged. “I’ll pay the debt.”

Massimo’s expression darkened instantly.

The next morning, black SUVs suddenly appeared outside the cabin.

Anna’s face turned pale.

“You need to hide,” she whispered urgently. “Those men are dangerous.”

But Massimo slowly stood up.

Because the men stepping out of those vehicles weren’t strangers.

They belonged to him.

Within seconds, armed guards rushed toward the cabin.

“Boss!” one shouted in shock. “We thought you were dead!”

Anna froze completely.

Her eyes slowly turned toward Massimo.

“Boss…?”

Massimo looked at her silently for several seconds.

Then calmly said:

“My name is Massimo DeLuca.”

The color drained from Anna’s face.
Even in the mountains, everyone knew that name.

But before fear could settle in, Massimo handed one of his men a thick envelope.

“Pay her debts,” he ordered coldly.
Then he pointed toward the sleeping little boy inside the cabin.
“And make sure they never struggle again.”

Anna stared at him speechlessly.

“You don’t owe me anything,” she whispered.

Massimo looked at her quietly.

“Yes,” he said softly.
“I do.”

Because in the moment when his own family left him to die in the snow…

A stranger chose to save him instead.
