👀 The latest courtroom update in the Rihanna shooting case just took an even more dramatic turn.

Rihanna is once again at the center of a shocking legal case after new court developments revealed that the woman accused of opening fire near her Los Angeles property has now lost all custody rights to her child.

According to court filings, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz was stripped of any contact with her child following a ruling by a Florida judge, who granted full parental control and 100% time-sharing rights to the child’s father, Jed Nikko Valdez Sangalang.

The court reportedly ruled that Ortiz cannot have any communication or visitation with the child unless the father personally approves it.

The custody decision is closely tied to Ortiz’s ongoing criminal case in California and concerns raised in court regarding her mental health history.

During proceedings, testimony revealed that Ortiz had previously been placed under Florida’s Baker Act before 2023, a law that allows involuntary psychiatric evaluation in certain situations. Ortiz reportedly acknowledged the incident during sworn testimony but claimed the accusations leading to the psychiatric hold were false.

However, the judge cited “concerning testimony” regarding her mental condition and ordered additional social investigation measures before making the custody decision final.

Court documents also suggested concerns that Ortiz might not return the child if granted access, which reportedly influenced the judge’s decision to place all parental authority with Sangalang.

Ortiz is currently facing a series of serious criminal charges connected to an alleged March shooting incident near Rihanna’s Beverly Hills residence.

Prosecutors allege Ortiz fired multiple rounds from an AR-15-style rifle toward the property while Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were inside the home with their children at the time.

Authorities charged Ortiz with 14 offenses, including attempted murder, multiple counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and shooting at an inhabited dwelling.

She has pleaded not guilty to all charges and remains in custody in California without bond as the criminal proceedings continue. Reports also state she has been ordered to stay away from Rihanna and her family.

In addition to the criminal case, Ortiz reportedly lost her professional license to practice speech-language pathology in California following the arrest.
