Offset has reportedly been released from a Florida hospital following the casino shooting incident that shocked fans and fueled weeks of online speculation.
The rapper was recovering from gunshot injuries sustained during an altercation outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on April 6.
According to statements released by his team, Offset is now “up and walking” after receiving treatment at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Representatives for the rapper thanked the hospital staff for their care during his recovery.
Offset later addressed supporters directly on social media, sharing a message focused on healing, family, and moving forward.
“Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love,” the rapper wrote. “I’m good, but I’m planning to be better. I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music.”
He also added a line that quickly spread online: “Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”
The statement comes after weeks of headlines surrounding both the shooting and Offset’s alleged gambling-related financial issues.
Authorities say the violence erupted outside the casino following rising tensions between Offset and Lil Tjay. Rumors of an ongoing dispute between the two artists had circulated for months before the incident, with online discussions pointing to alleged gambling debts and personal disagreements.
Lil Tjay was arrested the night of the altercation on a disorderly conduct charge, although authorities never publicly accused him of being the shooter. He later denied involvement in the shooting itself.
Beyond the Florida incident, Offset has also faced separate financial scrutiny involving alleged casino debts.
Reports previously surfaced claiming the rapper lost substantial amounts gambling in recent years. In addition, MotorCity Casino Hotel reportedly filed a lawsuit connected to an alleged unpaid gambling debt tied to a casino credit line.
Offset’s legal representatives are reportedly working to address the financial matters while the rapper focuses on his recovery and future music releases.
For now, fans appear relieved simply to see the artist out of the hospital and publicly optimistic about moving forward after a chaotic month filled with legal trouble, online drama, and health concerns.
