CONOR McGREGOR challenged the UFC to give him a “SUPRISE” opponent as he vowed to fight “absolutely anyone.”
The Irishman is no stranger to late notice replacements, famously facing Chad Mendes and Nate Diaz after pullouts.

McGregor is expected to fight Michael Chandler in his UFC return next year – but he is ready for just about anyone.
He posted on X: “I promise the ufc would never even have announce to me who I am fighting, they could do a surprise announcement out of nowhere, a date, an opponent, completely out of the blue, absolutely anyone, at any time, and I’d be in the gym prepping tactics for it. This is legally binding.”
McGregor, 35, has had a frustrating time on the sidelines since breaking his leg in July 2021 against Dustin Poirier, 34.
In the period out, he left the UFC’s all-year round random drug testing but has since re-entered.
Now McGregor must complete six months of clean testing before he is eligible to fight again.
And UFC president Dana White appeared to suggest the former two-weight champion is heading for a summer comeback.
He told Adam Glyn: “He’s good, he’s ready. He wants to [fight].
“He’s got to sit out for the six months to get back into the drug-testing pool. So, realistically, could be looking at him next summer.”
That could frustrate McGregor, who was hoping to fight 37-year-old American Chandler by April.
He said in Saudi Arabia: “I’m happy with April.
“I would’ve loved it earlier, but if I’m to be honest and be realistic, for my fans, I want to put in a good run, build myself back, and that’s it.
“It’s looking like April, mixed martial arts.”
