In the world of WWE, Becky Lynch has nearly reached the pinnacle of success, yet one coveted prize remains just out of her grasp. During a heartfelt conversation on the latest episode of What’s Your Story with Stephanie McMahon, Lynch opened up about her journey and the one goal she is still striving to achieve: winning the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Reflecting on her career, Lynch expressed a blend of confidence and acceptance regarding creative decisions. “I’ve proven myself over the years, and I’m at a stage where I trust my abilities,” she shared. “Whether I agree with a direction or not, I’m committed to playing the role.”
Despite her many achievements including being a Grand Slam Champion and the first woman to headline WrestleMania—Lynch revealed that the Money in the Bank briefcase is the last item on her wishlist. “It might seem trivial, but I really want that briefcase. I can just imagine how much it would rattle everyone if I won it, especially with my character. The thought of everyone wanting it to go to a younger star, only for me to snatch it away? That would be pure gold.”
Lynch has been a transformative figure in WWE, not only for her own accolades but also for elevating the prestige of championships like the Intercontinental title. Recently, she faced a setback when Sol Ruca ended her third reign at the Clash in Italy.
As Lynch continues to chase this final goal, fans are left wondering: what will it take for her to finally claim that elusive briefcase?
