Seth Rollins is not holding back when it comes to his feelings about Roman Reigns and the World Heavyweight Championship. In a recent interview with Big Nick Turturro on Delivering Happiness, Rollins expressed his frustration over Reigns’ claims that he has elevated the title’s status, calling it “complete bullsht.”
Rollins, who has a storied history with Reigns, made it clear that he feels the narrative surrounding the championship is misleading. “So, now Roman Reigns is walking around with my title, right? Talking about how he made the title relevant, which is bullsht. I’ll just say it. It’s complete bullsht. He knows it. I know it. Everybody else knows it. He sounds like an idiot when he says it,” Rollins stated candidly.
The former champion also took the opportunity to reflect on what it takes to be a top star in WWE. He emphasized the importance of understanding and connecting with the audience. “There’s an intelligence that exists. There’s an understanding of people and how to read a room,” Rollins explained. He highlighted how this skill has been a hallmark of wrestling legends throughout the years, from Dusty Rhodes to John Cena.
Rollins, who was the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion when the title was reintroduced in 2023, faced a setback when he had to vacate the championship due to a shoulder injury that required surgery in October 2025. Following his departure, CM Punk captured the title at SNME in November, and Reigns later defeated Punk at WrestleMania for the championship.
As the rivalry between Rollins and Reigns continues to simmer, fans are left wondering what the future holds for both superstars and the prestigious title. What will be the next chapter in this heated saga?
