In a shocking turn of events, Cassie Ventura is reportedly evading legal service in a lawsuit that alleges she and Sean “Diddy” Combs coerced a male escort into participating in disturbing sexual acts. The lawsuit, filed by Clayton Howard in Los Angeles, paints a troubling picture of the alleged incidents that took place during Cassie and Diddy’s relationship.
According to court documents, Howard claims that Cassie has gone to extreme lengths to avoid being served with legal papers related to his civil suit. He asserts that he has spent months trying to track her down, alleging that she is using her resources to remain elusive. Howard, who also identifies as a victim in the federal case against Diddy, claims that Cassie’s legal team has obstructed his attempts to serve her.
In his filing, Howard accuses Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, of refusing to accept service despite publicly representing her. “Cassie Ventura has used substantial resources to conceal her whereabouts,” the court documents state, indicating that Wigdor is not authorized to accept legal papers for this case.
To bolster his claims, Howard has enlisted the help of a private investigator and multiple process servers who have scoured DMV records and property databases in an effort to locate Cassie. He has reportedly reached out to Wigdor’s office multiple times but has received no cooperation.
Now, Howard is seeking the court’s permission to use an alternative method of service, arguing that Cassie is engaged in a “cat-and-mouse game” to avoid legal proceedings. His motion includes a list of public statements made by Wigdor and co-counsel Meredith Firetog since June 2025, which he believes demonstrates that Wigdor should be authorized to accept service on Cassie’s behalf.
The lawsuit, filed on June 29, 2025, claims that both Cassie and Diddy orchestrated sex parties involving male escorts. Howard alleges that he was coerced into these encounters and subjected to humiliating acts, including being filmed while engaging in sexual activities at Cassie’s direction. He also claims that Cassie knowingly transmitted a sexually transmitted disease to him and became pregnant, ultimately terminating the pregnancy without his knowledge.
While Diddy was often present during these alleged encounters, Howard describes him as more of an overseer than an active participant, characterizing him as “jealous” and “controlling.” Despite being subpoenaed, Howard did not testify during Diddy’s criminal trial earlier this year.
Diddy was convicted of two counts related to transporting individuals for prostitution and is currently serving a 50-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. Meanwhile, Cassie previously settled a separate civil lawsuit against Diddy for $20 million and received an additional $10 million settlement from the InterContinental Hotel concerning a separate incident.
In an interview with The Art of Dialogue, Howard expressed his feelings of victimization, recounting how he felt trapped during the alleged encounters. “I would have never had unprotected sex with this girl if I realized that she was sleeping with half of the Lakers unprotected,” he stated, emphasizing his belief in his own innocence.
