Texas executed former Missouri City police officer Robert Alan Fratta on January 10, 2023, for orchestrating the 1994 murder of his wife, Farah Fratta, during a bitter divorce and custody dispute.
Fratta was convicted of hiring intermediaries to carry out the murder outside the couple’s home in Atascocita, Texas. He spent nearly three decades on death row, appealing the conviction and sentence before the state carried out the execution.
