Three of Manchester United’s top six earners could all leave the club in January
MANCHESTER UNITED are wasting millions of pounds on flops who have barely played this season.
The Red Devils suffered their worst start to a season for 61 years but are sixth in the Premier League after winning their last two matches in the competition.

Manchester United’s highest earners have barely played this season
Erik ten Hag’s squad has been hit by an injury crisis and United’s top six highest earners have barely played so far this campaign.
In fact, combined they have made just 29 starts, though Ten Hag is partly responsible for that statistic.
He dropped Jadon Sancho from his squad after their public spat following the defeat to Arsenal in September.
While summer signing Mason Mount has also struggled for starts after failing to impress in his first appearances for the club.
That pair both earn £250,000-a-week along with Anthony Martial, who has started just two matches this season.
The trio earn a combined £29million a year and between them have contributed zero goals, zero assists and just six Prem starts.
While United’s two highest earners – Casemiro and Raphael Varane – have been heavily linked with moves away from the club.
Both players have been hit by injury this season and are understood to be wanted by clubs in Saudi Arabia.
If the pair both leave the Red Devils would rid a staggering £36m off their wage bill, which could be spent on a new centre-back like Jean-Clair Todibo or Edmund Tapsoba who have both been linked.
Only Marcus Rashford – who is on £325,000-a-week – plays regularly, and even he has hit a rough patch.
The England star has just one Premier League goal this season and his wayward finishing has contributed to United having one of the worst shot conversion rates in the league.
